Oh, goodness.
I hate to even blog about this, but here are my weekly totals so far (normally I start my week on Sunday):
Run: 5.2 miles
Swim: 1,100 yards
Cycle: nothing yet, although luckily I have the “Frosty Bike Ride” tomorrow for 15 miles
Walk: 1.76 miles
That’s it. Yup. Four pathetic days. Not even 2.5 hours of working out. Bleh. I wish I were independently wealthy, or at least not feeling overwhelmed.
It’s SO hard for me to get motivated at the beginning of a school year when my schedule changes. Excuses all. They’re all just excuses.

Not to be Mr. Positive, but set some goals at the beginning of the week then look for the positive in what you completed. Ok, you finished 5.2 miles or 1100 meters/yards swimming, there had to be something good in those, or something you learned. Now set your goals a bit higher for next week and put together an action plan to achieve it. You will surprise yourself.
The poster at the end says it all. If it were easy, anyone could (and would) do it. Buck up camper – everybody takes a hibernation week or two (even me). Just get back on that horsie when your sick of beating yourself up.
I like to beat people to the punch, apparently. Not a good habit.
Oh , and I don’t remember you hibernating.
. I must have missed it!, Thanks for saying that though!
These last two years I haven’t hibernated – but before that, I regularly took a few weeks off at a time in the winter. I’ve only recently learned to suffer through winter running.
