Whew!
What a morning. I woke up dizzy this morning, just like my honey did last Thursday and he ended up getting some sort of bug. Head congestion and general malaise. I’m trying to avoid it.
So, instead of staying in bed when the alarm went off, I muddled my way downstairs and out the door to the gym for my scheduled 1.25 mile run. I must thank all of my bloggy friends for the daily motivation you provide. Sometimes it’s just hard to do this on my own.
I actually made it the whole 1.25 miles. Total 2 with WU and CD, which I needed today. Honestly, the longer I went, the easier it seemed. Although, several times I did have to grab the bars for stability–and more times, I wanted to quit and go back to bed. Glad I stuck it out. Recently, Runner’s World’s quote of the day said something about not wanting to run–but in the end, you know you always feel better. Hold on to that feeling as you struggle to get up, or move your feet for the first few steps.
After my run, I did some upper body weights and core, then headed home for a shower. Rushed off to work and have either been teaching, in meetings, or working on deadlines all day. Yes, until 2:45pm when I plan to head home. Which means in a minute.
Then, I am going to bed. Period.
Here’s hoping all of you stay healthy out there in bloggyland!
Get some rest…. i’ve been down with the bug since Saturday, lots of fluids, lots of Vitamin C!!!
WOOHOO! Nice work tiger!

LOL. OK, take a nap. I did mean the woohoo with all of the kindness in the world… Kind of in a ‘well check you out’ way.
Oh, my growl was a happy Disney cartoon “proud of what I did” growl.
. So hard to convey that online! Thanks for your high praise!!!
Gotcha! I did miss it! That’s even funnier. Good job Sandra.
Oh, you betcha!!!
Rest up Sandra.
